"When you say animé, it usually means its for the kids, but for ‘Full Metal Alchemist’ we want parents to see it as a family material."
He is DAMN WRONG... hindi naman lahat ng anime ay pambata...
"I think there’s really a market for animé. This time it is not surprising because animé lasts longer than any other kind of shows. And never ending naman ang likes ng mga children. This is the reason animé has become good programs in the past. Even if you replay and replay it, children will keep on watching," he said with a smile.
A market for anime... that is TRUE... kaya lang, sana pansinin niya kung bakit umuunti ang anime sa weekday afternoons... Kahit maraming anime sa weekend mornings, it does not matter...
Anime lasts longer... that is also TRUE... hindi nakapagtataka kung ang Slam Dunk noong 2004 ay nagawang talunin ang iba't ibang genre ng mga programa ng ABS-CBN 2...
Even you replay?
Well, iyan lang muna...

If only they know what they're talking about, and how they handle it... and if they keep on replaying on the misguided belief that it's okay, maya-maya meron na naman maghahagis ng molotov cocktail sa mga forums.
Hi, this is Ronin!
Yeah, I have to agree with you on this. Even I am irritiated that they still insist on anime being for kids. It insinuates me.
Anyway, soap operas are becoming more appealing to the masses... again. Even with new anime series popping up on GMA and ABS-CBN (Tenjho Tenge once popped up on GMA, then it was pulled out), majority of the afternoon shows are still on about telenovelas, fantaseryes, and all that jazz.
... and I thought anime becoming mainstream was a dream come true..
